The iPhone app would be used for quick (5-10 second) videos to be sent directly between mobile users. It would be similar to the framework of the popular mobile app Heytell.
Most people who don't like using skype or Facetime because they don't like the constant nature of the video stream and an alternative could serve a significant purpose. The app would allow user send brief, to the point, informational videos just like a walkie talkie does with audio. It would operate much quicker than native MMS sending and would be able to pass more dynamic info than a picture text can. There would be endless uses for the app; showing your parents your new dog, advice on an outfit, sending a video to a friend that is missing out on a party, or wishing your sister happy birthday.
The app would allow users to take advantage of the great video technology on the iPhone without the awkwardness that can come with a constant stream video app. It would personal, intimate and most importantly fun.
