QuirkyFlirt -- Dating site for geeks and socially awkward people alike!

If you've ever used an online dating website in the past, you've probably seen the big long list of potential matches, with the quiet, nerdy sci-fi fan, and the crazy wild party chick, who's profile picture consists of them wearing a very provocative zebra dress, chugging a large Budweiser bottle.
However, some people only want to meet people like the quiet nerdy sci-fi fan as we mentioned earlier, but they have trouble finding people like her because the site is overfilled with the people they don't want. That's where we come in!

Statistics show that 74% of the target demographic in the US have tried using online dating sites at least once, and 52% use them daily. In addition, 17% of the daily users have ended up marrying a user from such site. Most nerds are also beating the "rule of 12", a cultural custom in the online dating world in which they must send messages to 12 different women before getting a single response, by 200%.

Our site would have all the nooks and crannies of a regular dating website-- as the main selling point is the separation from the mainstream dating community, rather than any special features. However, I would be open to expanding features down the road. I'm also interested in rolling out a specialized matchmaking algorithm as well, considering geeks come in all different shapes and sizes. Revenue would be made from either a subscription ($5 or $10/mo), or by using an ad supported platform. There could also be extra features such as ad removal (if the ad system is implemented), or increased exposure.
