The idea behind Bardster is to create, share and enjoy original audio content. Originally, I was pursuing the audio book version of oysterbooks. But with their recently announced closure and move to Google Play bookstore, and audio books costing more than eBooks, the business model is not likely to work. As an alternative, I am wondering if there is a youtube kind of idea for creating audio content. I know we live in a visual image obsessed age, but could there be a counter movement to just listening and letting those images come to life in one's mind? Google Music, iTunes and Pandora are huge for music, but what about other types of self-inspired audio - music, storytelling, narration, personal stories, sport moments, etc. Could there be a demand and interest in that? I'd like to hear your thoughts.
