A tech start-up producing a crowd-sourced social media app for travellers. With cultures of the world at its core, Culture Dock will enable travellers to share cultural encounters (uploaded into channels) with other travellers, friends and family back home or those planning to travel who want to learn about a country. It also will be a resource for travellers on the go, to tap into a culture in order to maximize their travel experience.
Travellers can easily access info about what to do and see in their chosen country, yet what young millennial travellers are looking for today are intercultural experiences where they are engaged in the world around them to enrich an authentic travel experiene, to learn, grown and become global citizens. This will gain traction with young travellers but will appeal to those of all ages, who embrace the world's diversity.
