One of the most underrated yet overpriced aspects of purchasing a new car is the backup cam - but it doesn't have to be this way. The idea is to create a mini camera that attaches to the back of your car and connects to either your phone or other piece of hardware via bluetooth and works as a back-up camera. When the user enters a vehicle, they simply open the app which connects directly to the camera and then they have a full view of the car's rear surroundings. Most solutions online run at around $150 which seems incredibly overpriced for a simple camera. Other cheap solutions that run around $15 for the camera don't offer an app or interface for viewing and require the user to connect AV cables manually. This presents a major opportuntiy to undercut the market's pricing while also providing more functionality.
