There is no incentive in companies to deliver top notch reporting. Reporting in companies is generated by (a team 30 years ago of) accountants, system administrators, BI teams = All overheads, all lack targets to exceed expectations, all stuck in BAU process and want to finish the day with as little effort as possible, have a moat of politics between one another, no budgets or time given to create.
Yet they control the medium/language which drives the company and its decision making. Ultimately, the reports in companies are simply financial, yet the drivers or enablers of those financials go un reported, un heard.
This idea fills the void, its part system part labour/consultancy, hence not a commodity or easily replicated. It takes advantage of complex companies, provides managers with the chance to outsource the accountant hired to work the first 6 days of the month and nothing else.
My partner and I are near certain on 4 companies who would sign on ($200k PA approx), and expect this to snowball doubling each year. However, that up front momentum, cash flow should see the project kick into straight into phase 2, 3, 4.
Sorry for lack of detail.
