Here comes Sincuru, a unique marketplace where farmers can give a second life to their unsold food stocks for consumers to access affordable fresh and fully traceable food. We then solve 3 problems:
- Farmers can generate additional income from what they did not sell before
- Consumers can cut their food budget without sacrificing the quality, freshness and traceability
- We are sustainable and preserve the environment by cutting the food waste
Everybody should have access to the freshest food at the lowest price, and know who produces it and how it was produced. By reducing food waste and reusing farmers' harvest, Sincuru is the new way for all to rejoice great food!

eincarnation is the idea that reusable components will be identified with an images taken from a registered Recycler with a digital camera that will be sent to a server running image recognition software to match images to known reusable components. If an image match is found all the known data of that component is displayed including the manufacturer, model, name, and the materials contained within the product. It will also display if any Reuser (Persons / Organisation) can use the Component or any of its sub components in its entirety. For example the cordless phone dialpad is still used on the new model, an manufacturer may wish to sign up to have these old dialpads collected to save cost and lower environmental footprint. The manufacturer can specify how much they are willing to pay, so that the Recycler can contact them if one is detected. This cost could be considable if a reusable sub component that used an expensive material such as rare earth. Another customer segment may be repairers who may wish to use this service to find parts that still have value if repaired.
The eincarnation api will be a programmable interface to interact with the server. The server would be ran on using cloud computing allowing scalability (such as amazon AWS) as more Components, Recyclers and Reuses are added to keep up with the growing demand and the high processing demands for image recognition. An api would be accompanied by a simple web interface though the api would allow mobile and other industry applications to interface with eincarnation automatically. For example an Recycler may have a conveyor belt with an camera set up to have pictures taken automatically, and these are uploaded without human intervention. The api may also be used by potential recyclers being online classifieds such as ebay.com, zillch.com and others for items that nobody wanted to automatically be listed.
Note: I have been completing a canvas (essentially an 1 page busines plan) at http://leancanvas.com. I'm happy to share with anybody that would like a look. I will just need an email so I can send you an invite.
The fix is a combination of streamlining operations; instituting a semi-entrepreneurial (salary+bonus) division of labor model that separates sales, consulting, and admin; and adding large scale, centralized marketing of the better mousetrap, to dramatically decrease the cost of driving a dollar of revenue.
In the past decade, on a scale of one, I've developed part of the better mousetrap. I have conclusively demonstrated that "econometric precision pricing" dramatically improves results for sellers, but most Realtors don't have the interest or background in economics and statistics to properly read the tea leaves, while most econometricians would find both sales and administrative implementation to be uninteresting. Sadly, every new Realtor in the traditional model is asked to wear all three of those hats, and cannot possibly do all three well.
I am ready to prove that an expanded (division of labor) model can be profitably replicated in two adjacent cities (Wheaton and Naperville, IL), and need both human and financial resources to take this next step. The potential payoff nationwide is in the tens of billions of dollars, much of which I'd like to see go for philanthropic initiatives that support the collaborative creation of a just and sustainable future.
This "integrated knowledge & marketing platform" merges content in the expected 'green' areas (and the not-expected areas), with a directory profile that helps businesses to market to & communicate with consumers in a way that is not currently being done. This is a highly innovative idea that fills an enormous gap in the market. It adds value for consumers by breaking down the complicated topics of green in fast and easy way, and it builds several bridges between awareness and consumer behavior. It adds value for businesses by educating them on ways to "normalize green" for the mainstream consumer, while it also builds several bridges from the marketing area, back to consumer (and business) awareness.
My co-founder must be highly passionate and knowledgeable about sustainability -- we will make an enormous difference. If this is not your passion, then this opportunity is not for you.
(The video shown is for only the content-side of the platform. The video for the marketing-side is still in production.)
The problem we solve can be found in almost every household and organization - so there is a big market potential.
The vision is not only to found and build a profitable business, but to help individuals and organizations make the world a better, more sustainable place by providing them with cutting-egde "green IT".
Therefore we are looking for a strong technical co-founder (CTO) in order to strenghten our team (full-time launch in July 2012).
