I am a sexual health professional with extensive connections in the field. And I have an idea for a website that I think could reduce the transmission of STDs in the United States by 10-40%. I am very skilled at research, product testing and evaluation, and bringing people of different backgrounds together. I am currently a PhD student in Infectious Disease Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins.

I used to work at The White House on HIV/AIDS and reproductive policy under the Obama administration. I have also evaluated sexual health websites in the past, advocated for evidence-based HIV policy, taught sexual health for several years, and researched condom distribution in prisons and the enforcement of anti-prostitution laws in California.

Founding a website that allows people who have been diagnosed with STDs to send anonymous emails to their former partners to let them know they should get tested, and refer them to services near them. I have people to help with fundraising, evaluation, legal advice, medical fact checking, and marketing, but I need developers and designers to get a solid beta of the website up. I am also founding a nonprofit organization to back the website, which will focus on sexual health and technology.
