My company is a London-based digital PR agency and publisher, working with entrepreneurs and growth businesses to build their profile and brands. The agency will work with clients to generate content for social sharing using a unique web-platform as well as traditional media.
I currently have a strong lead pipeline and have gone live with the first client, with the second contract due to launch in early May.
Whilst the business is expected to be financially viable as a one-man consultancy by September 2012, it requires the time, energy and vision of a co-founder to enable me to scale the business into a more lucrative proposition.
My preferred co-founder will not necessarily be expected to make a monetary contribution to the startup but must be able to bring expertise and knowledge to the project. Remuneration will be in the form of an equity stake initially until salaried compensation becomes viable. You must be willing to work a minimum of 20hrs a week and assist with all aspects of the business from content generation, profile management to business development.
I have the ability to open doors to potential clients and an unrivalled 'black book of journalists' and am looking to secure 20 contracts ranging between £200-£1500 per month by October 2012, with forecasts of a turnover of £75k for the financial year 2012/13 and turnover of £240k for 2013/14.
